User manual on the way

We have just given a job to a technical writer from elance.com. We should have a completed manual by the end of December. It won’t be a PDF or anything like that, it will be fully integrated in the IDE and fully search able. We might add the option to generate a PDF document so that we can provide a physical book for the customers that would like it.
After that we need to give out another job to someone who will fix the internal functions help topics. This should be a small job.

That’s really good news!
Excellent news.
What % of functions/commands will be in the manual? I know there is plenty that was missed out of V1.x manual (Although it was a real good effort)
Will it be user updateable? Or will we have to submit updates to you?
The PIDE 2 will come with a nice help file editor. You can have as many help files (.hlp) as you want and it will use them all.
We, of course, will appreciate user’s updates. The functions will be updated to the new help format, this is the next contract we have to give out. We have created an HTML importer to import the old functions from v1.x into the new help format. All that is remaining is to double-check them and move some text around and some formatting if necessary.
