Parallel Universe

Well, Parallels for Desktop (latest version) is not working well without full hardware acceleration in Vista. Since I use this VM (Virtual Machine) to do development 95% of the time, I cannot have two cursors at the same time on the screen.

Camtasia Studio will not show previews but at least the result videos are all working good.

Tonight, I will be working on a introducary video for PPL 2.0, my spoken English is not top notch, I am afraid it won’t sound much professional. I will give it a try and you guys can let me know if it is worth continuing this way or not.

Stay tuned…

I dont think its Parallels that is not working well. I recon its Vista. Although I have no issues whatsoever with it, many people dont like it.

There must be something to this theory, other wise MS would not have revealed details of it’s sucessor so soon after releasing it. It does sound like Vista will turn into another ME!

Keep at it with Vista though as sooner or later XP will go the way of DOS and be relegated to the legacy O/S bin.

I just got confirmation from techsmith that camtasia studio has issues under Parallels Desktop running under Vista. They kindly offered a refund.
